CEO’s Welcome

I’m Jack, and I’m the founder of CIAG — the Channel Islands Aviation Group. I oversee the day-to-day running of the group, from reviewing PIREPs and updating our route network to supporting our community of pilots and staff across each division.

My journey in virtual aviation began with VATSIM over a decade ago, and since then I’ve grown into roles across real-world and virtual aviation. I currently work in Local OPS at Aurigny, helping coordinate flights and operations.

I'm also the founder of Total Aviation, a content platform sharing training, livestreams, and sim-focused aviation content, as well as the founder of the Virtual Pilot Institute (VPI), where we help sim pilots grow through structured learning and mentorship. These combined experiences shape CIAG into what it is: structured, welcoming, and built by sim pilots, for sim pilots.
